Braised rump tail on last weekend’s trip to Malaga after an unexpected gate upgrade to 1F on an economy Avios ticket. I was promised a meal but only after everyone else had chosen which was fair enough given the circumstances. 10 rows of Club and only the chicken salad had run out by the time it came to my choice. Despite the looks, beef wasn’t too dry and worked well with the sauce. Though on its own did need some extra seasoning, but all in all a good meal.
Service was excellent, yes excellent. Not a word often associated with Euroflyer crews but Stefan the CSM looked after the cabin well. Drinks flowed regularly throughout with proactive top ups including non-alcoholic drinks for me as I was driving. My coffee even came with extra biscuits! Stefan and his team were a credit to Euroflyer and at the end of the flight one of the passengers from the back of the Club Cabin also complimented the crew on the service so it wasn’t just us on Row 1 who got looked after. Good job Euroflyer.
