Starting a more generic thread, my experience today (17/18 April) was interesting..

Flying SIN to PER, flight was planned to depart at 19.30, but when I was on my way to the airport at 15.00 I got a text message stating my flight was delayed until 23.30 followed by a change to 00.25.

Initial reason, late arrival of the aircraft from Brisbane, that flight did indeed arrive 2.5 hours late at 20.00. So why did we not depart at 21.00?

At boarding the announcement blamed Perth immigration being closed from 2am to 5am, that said when I landed and had a friendly chat while passing immigration the border officer said they are there 24 hours and immigration does not close.

Someone has been telling porkies
