Arrived HND on Apr 17, 2025 at 1535 (a peak time judging by all the remote stands incl. for my NH flight from IAD) and took an hour to get through immigration and customs with QR code. Lines were horrendous but kept moving and unlike at other airports (e.g,, LHR), staff were helpful. Oddly, we were singled out after we did the first kiosk (photo, fingerprints, passport) by a staff who took us to a shorter line, saving maybe 10 mins. Overall, it was organized chaos and nothing like the 3 hour wait I recently experienced at LHR. Note: the line to get a Welcome Suica card (for transport) was also long, took 30 mins.
