Obviously they intend to operate with B772 this day. Otherwise they would not do this, they are not crazy. That doesn't mean of course that a last min aircraft type substitution cannot happen.

For example, I have Economy Comfort seat (paid extra) booked 21A on 777-200. If they switch to 78X that seat is just a normal Economy seat
Worst case, I presume if you don't get the level of seat you booked then you could claim back.
You will be transferred to another Economy comfort seat. If less Eco Comfort seats are available on the new aircraft, some pax will end up in a regular Y seat.
