What would be considered ULH that would have enough of a market to support an A351 configured to fly the route? YYZ-SYD comes to mind, but AC would need a pretty premium configured aircraft like QF except AC doesn’t have F to suck up the real estate. I would be super surprised to see an AC plane with more than 50 J seats and AC isn’t exactly known for comfortable Y. Wouldn’t it make more sense to configure a 789 in a more premium configuration? What other routes would AC consider that really need an A351 without the density?
I think this could also be operating existing LH routes on metal with higher capacity. I bet they want to offer 77W type capacity on some routes where they can only fly the 787-9 or 77L on a year round basis. India comes to mind.
