One thing you should know about the Apex seat is that it is a bit controversial. Many people (self included) love them, but if you're used to staggered or herringbone seats, you might not like the Apex design. Most J seats give you lots of space to the side but squeeze your feet into a limited space. The Apex seat has less space to the side but has equal width along the length of the bed, meaning much more space to move your feet and legs. I personally prefer Apex. I love having the massive open space in front of me and not having my feet squashed. But some people hate it and prefer having lots of space to stretch out sideways. Only you can decide if you can tolerate the Apex seat and won't be unhappy choosing JL.
