Asking for a friend (brother-in law). He has moved from London to Columbus. His job in London involved 95% bi-weekly international travel, Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. The only reason I would stay with BA is if he's close to GFL or GGLFL. Otherwise the benefits don't matter much, but generally will get better treatment on AA as an AA elite. Only difference being not having lounge access on domestic itineraries as AA vs BA.
