I recently flew LH from LHR to FRA with the ticket issued on LH stock. I thought PQPs for this flight were awarded based on award miles divided by 5.

Here is what UA recorded in my account:

As you can see, my award miles are 1224. But when you divide that by 5 you get 245 not 164. When I called the Mileage Plus Service Center, they kept telling me that I get PQPs based on distance. When I pushed further, they said that for LH flights in D class, I get 200% of the distance which is 820 miles. So I asked about the 1,224 and they told me that includes a 100% bonus provided by UA for being a 1K and doesn't count in the calculation of PQP. But again, the rule I thought was award miles divided by 5.

What am I missing? Is a bonus mile not an award mile?
