Booked an itinerary through Delta the other night, TLV to JFK on KLM to AMS followed by Delta, and returning via CDG on AF. Booked the meal on the Delta segment online, but couldn’t seem to find an option to do it on the AF or KLM websites for those segments. Called KLM, and they were able to add them on the AF segments, but not the TLV-AMS segment for some reason. A bit later, the AF chat agent got back to me, and confirmed that the KSMLs had been added to the return flights, but said that on the TLV-AMS route no special meals were available at all. After finishing the conversation, about ten minutes later they messaged me back, saying that I didn’t need to worry, because all the food on the flight would be kosher. Don’t know what that means exactly, but interesting.
