Just as an aside, my last flight from LGW was with TUI and outbound it was about a 4 minute walk from the lounge to the gate, and on the way back, it was barely 2 minutes to immigration, plus our bags came out quickly (apparently they do pay for premium pax to have priority luggage, fancy that) and we were on a train within 30 minutes of wheels down.

Needless to say, I'm sure plenty of people will tell me all the reasons why this is not a fair comparison to BA (different terminal, etc etc...) but it was a refreshing experience nonetheless...
