This x 100.
If you know Gatwick and you know your way around, Pier 3 (the Satellite as was) isn't that far at all.
It's actually closer than the end of Pier 2 as the journey is the width of roughly 3 x B777s to Pier 3 and literally 7 x B777s to Gate 25 at the end of Pier 2.
Who needs yards, furlongs and metres when you can measure in Boeings!?

Pier 2 : 13/15/17/19/21/23/25/27 = 8
Pier 3 : 31-38 = 8
