This is where you are wrong. The E170 that will be flying as a part of the Delta Connection fleet later this year is nothing like the CRJ.
The E170 will have:
- a full sized cabin that a person as tall as 6'6" can stand up in
- a First Class cabin with 6 F seats
- normal sized overheads that can accomodate most roll-aboards
- F seats on the E170 will have a 36" pitch and be 20.25" wide
- Y seats on the E170 will have a 32" pitch and be 18.25" wide
For comparison, the Y seat width on the 738, MD88, 757, 767, 777 is only 17" meaning
the E170 will have some of the widest Y seats in the entire DL system. Plus, Y seating will only be 2x2 unlike on the 738, 757 where there are middle seats.
