Did you go? Any observations? I’ve flown Emirates via Dubai and Qatar via Doha I’ve just decided as a gay person it’s not worth the remote risk of being targeted in these places. There are other fine airlines to choose from including Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, and others that have First Class exceptional experiences to support an airline that has no policy with respect to discrimination and based in a country where being gay can get someone locked up or worse. No thanks.

My husband and I were thinking about booking a couple of flights with Etihad in "The Residence Suite." We would be in the suite together, and given they are a Middle Eastern airline, we are curious if anyone has any feedback on whether the airline will have issues with gay couples. Thank you!
