Industry rates do exist, and some hotels offer net rates (which you are supposed to add commission on top of); booking those for yourself could be a saving. But Fora, like many host agencies, requires beginner agents to decline all discounts and complimentary trips, to maintain their good relationships with suppliers. You can only accept TA rates and complimentary trips after you reach Pro (from memory that’s $100k p.a. in commissionable bookings)
