The hotel was average at best but the location made up for the blah rooms, average restaurant, and ok service. In ten minutes you can be in the heart of Florence with a Limoncello Spritz and a panini in hand!
Thanks for the feedback. The prevailing rate when I'm going is around $700-800/night. However, I have access to Marriott employee pricing which brings the cost down to around $140/night. Would it be fair to say it's not worth it at the $700 price point but would be worth it for the $140 price point? Are they good with elite benefits as well?
My alternate option was another hotel (non-chain, so had to book with Chase UR points) more centrally located but would have required paying around $1400 or around 90K UR for 4 nights vs this one which is working out to be around $550 for 4 nights.
