Booking F on this flight was a huge mistake. The F product is appalling - seat was beaten up and scratched and incredibly uncomfortable, not at all easy to find a comfortable position and the controls are not intuitive or easy to use at all. None of the power outlets worked. The TV was tiny with a scratched up screen and poor resolution. You can’t see out the windows as they are so far away. The angle of the seat (I was in 2K) was such that I felt like I was literally sat IN the aisle and the pax in 2F was looking right into me the entire flight. There is ZERO privacy and no at seat storage except for a USELESS closet that is too narrow to be of any use.
in summary; I wished I was back in club suites - whoever at BA thought it was a good idea to renovate J with the new club suites but to leave F with this dreadful product should be sacked. I even asked if I could move back to J but sadly it was full. Forget BA first being the “best business class in the sky” this was the WORST business class in the sky! NEVER again!
incredibly uncomfortable
I have the opposite opinion, I find all BA F seats irrespective of the aircraft or version, to be very comfortable. Only Swiss F or the new JAL F are better IME.

Agreed.: it's a severe case of form over function. I always turn the knob the wrong way. It's a USB type A problem.

I agree, the IFE hasn't aged at all well. I only really use the screen for the moving map, and use the iPad instead.

I can't say I've ever noticed that. Perhaps the pax in 2F was a bit weird. I've sat in 2F fairly recently on an 8F configuration ex-DXB, and I certainly didn't find myself staring at the pax in 2K for any period of time at all, let alone "the entire flight".
no at seat storage
The lack of at-seat storage, particularly when you're rightly encouraged to wear your seatbelt throughout the flight, is the seat's worst feature IMHO.
except for a USELESS closet
Agreed, you can just about get a sports jacket in there, the pockets of which I keep small items like passport and wallet throughout the flight. It is useless for any more, for example no good for that jacket plus shirt plus trousers if you get changed into PJs. I get an extra coat hanger from the crew and they hang that up elsewhere in the cabin.
1A and 1K on the other hand, relatively speaking, have very generous closet. You can get a "personal item" sized bag in there no problem, together with hanging up all your smart casual wear.
too narrow to be of any use.
May I recommend a string vest?
