Hi just bumping this thread again, going to have a NRT - HND transit next month. I wish to be able to stop-over for a day, but there aren't any availability at the time of booking / within travel budget.

I am just wondering what would happen if I missed the connection. can I be penalise for no show and rebook my last leg? any sharing would be appreciated. thank you
