At GLA, they're back to using the usual gates (19-21), and lounge staff gives enough notice with the announcement, so when I arrived at the gate boarding hasn't commenced yet.
I've been very impressed with GLA, which I've been through a couple of times in recent weeks. In both cases lounge announcement timed to perfection to allow a brief comfort stop, walk to the gate and a minute or two before a Group 0 call.
Great staff at lounge and gate, IME.
