Back when DL was at T2, ORD used to have a bit of Shuttle signage and as I recall, a quasi-dedicated check-in position. It was nice showing up to the counter at T-80 and having them say "I can put you on the flight leaving in 20 minutes...I'll call the gate and tell them you're on your way."

Often (but not always) the ORD-LGA flights today will board from M11 which is the gate connected to the Sky Club. That being said, as with DCA, the frequency is not what it was. That and other things seem to have led to the demise of the "Shuttle" aspect.
