Not limited to UA specifically, but I’ve also noticed finding it hard to use partner miles for *A flights sometimes, with availability varying widely by redemption program/operating carrier. For example, was able to book DPS-MAA using UA miles on TG, but couldn’t find the same space using LifeMiles, Aeroplan or Singapore. I was able to find other space on that route - I think was using SQ to SIN and then AI via Aeroplan, but not via the other programs mentioned. So YMMV.
Probably "dynamic pricing such like median price, peak price and off-peak price" is more like ads. As far as I know, all previous 6000 Aeroplan-mile redemption for short haul flights raised to 10000 with no exception.
