Rows 1-3 are sold as premium seats on routes that don’t offer business class. The seats are identical, you just get regular economy service: no food/drink included, no lounge, and your baggage allowance will be whatever you originally paid for. You are paying strictly for the seat.

also I just cancel 1st class seats on AA to fly out 2 days earlier in econ.
