Checked my account earlier this week and found booking on it for this month for 3 nights at London Sheraton Tower. Have never been interested in that hotel or even enter its website. I contacted the customer helpline where they cancelled the booking.

Today imagine my surprise when the same booking had reappered in my account. The helpline said they had a note of my previous cancellation number but the hotel had reinstated the booking at the request of Celeste. I looked up Google and they appear to be a hotel booking site which have never hear of less alone looked at. I was given a new cancellation and told they would look into this and get back to me.

The whole episode is very worrying as nobody has my card number or password.

Has anyone had a similar experience or can anyone explain how this could happen.
