3 questions with regards to these buy ups:

1) If UA cancels/changes a flight where I did a 30K + $600 buy up do you get your miles & money back if you wish not to take the new flight?

2) How does proactively changing a flight work in this case- can you move to a diff Polaris flight or do you just get put in Y if you want to switch but get the 30K + $600 back?

3) If I want to simplty switch my LAX-SFO flight to get to my SFO earlier ahead of my SFO-AKL flight will that be allowed and have no effect on being in Polaris w/ my 30K +$600 buy up for the SFO-AKL flight?
