Greetings!

I have an Air India flght from DEL - JDH in October that I booked in domestic business/first class. They swapped the original A320neo with another A320neo with no business class cabin (all Y). I called Air India and, as I need to fly on that day and i don't want to connect through BOM, there are no other options that day that have first/business. They said that if they swap the plane back i would be seated in the business/first area automatically and that if the plane goes out as is I will need to call them after the flight is complete to get the fare difference refunded.

If I still technically have a business/first class domestic fare, will I still get those baggage allowances, etc when i check in at the airport?

Any insights would be appreciated, this will be my first time flying Air India.
