Of course, Saturday is usually a lower-yielding travel day. Lots of tourists fly on Saturdays...business class dont do well on weekends.

Btw, RG MD-11 is a trashy as the B767s used by US carriers to Brazil (CO, DL, AA, etc)...
I am a Brazilian, and I have no problem in saying that Varig's MD-11 cabins are in general inferior to the B767 cabins on US carriers used on the SA routes, as has been discussed ad nauseum in this forum. This does, however, in no way mean that the US carriers have a high quality product, just that Varig needs to improve a lot, especially as far as the MD-11's are concerned.

Let's stop this childish nationalistic bashing and talk facts. In the end, that's what counts for the majority of FT'ers.

BTW I think everyone can agree that TAM has a superior product on the GRU-MIA route. Way to go!
