i think it may also depend on whether status was earned or gifted, could be relevant to HfP's example - although tbh i am not surprised there are quite a few instances of complimentary status extensions during this transition process
One of my junior Silk Cuts had a gifted gold expiring Sept 2025 but this has now changed to 30/04/26. He only earned silver in his own right in the last year ending Mar 25
