Actually no soup offered. Food is OK but not outstanding. Red and white wine offered, but no sparkling wine. Lounge was busy. We were told we could only have breakfast in lounge, not restaurant unless we wanted to pay over 20 euros pp. I was surprised they don't offer a sparkling wine, given room rates of 450+ euros a night.
It was quiet late in the afternoon/early evening when our room was finally ready a few months ago, and found the lounge offerings to be quite poor for happy hour, with mediocre breakfast. Won't be back. Recent stay at Renaissance was far better, and it's still being renovated!
