Sadly, this still means one still need to call in ahead of confirming a booking to check on availability - would have been nice if they could implement like what some of the other major (especially US) airlines do - while making your booking indicating if it's upgradable or not.
Still a great step forward... now just hoping they improve on better seat selections for Gold and maybe even have Lifetime Gold..
