Just a DP, my status updated to Diamond about a week after I passed the $5k spend.

The 5K TC for spending $5k posted a few days later.

They had a promotion earlier this year to spend $500 get 1K TC so I'm 9K TC short of actually earning Diamond for 2026.

We only have one Vegas trip planned for a busy week ( based on pricing) in October so I doubt we see any crazy tier accelerators but I think we will still be able to get to 15K TC.


One more Update. I'm not sure if this is new but I received a code for a free night for the 5K TC I earned for spending $5k on my CET credit card.

One free night in Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas, Laughlin or Reno for every 5,000 Tier Credits earned in 2025, up to seven nights

I added a Saturday to the end of our October trip and used my free night for a King Executive suite at Paris

So the $5k spend earned me Diamond, 5K TC, $50 in resort credits and a free night in a suite that my rate shows as $515/night.............not a bad deal
