DXB-EWR had no pre-boarding. 10 minutes early, GA yelled out “Group 1” and a mad rush ensued. My bag ended up three rows behind me in the Polaris cabin. Lots of people with three bags boarded too.

Boarding was through both doors but there wasn’t anyone directing people which to use when the jet bridge split so a lot of the Y cabin boarded through the front door and therefore the Polaris cabin.

Quite a mess.
