Question (which might have been answered before):
When is an applied RUC deducted from the account?

I had now 2 instances to only apply a RUC less than 2 hours before departure (Main to D1 on B767-300ER flight) to bump me up on the upgrade list (which worked - I got upgraded at the gate), but the RUCs were never deducted from my account.
