I normally kept a decent balance of SW flight credits (and gift cards purchased from Costco), since the travel credits had no expiration date, booked a lot of speculative flights far in advance, then would cancel/reprice as the price dropped. That's going to be too complicated once they change the policy on travel credits soon, so at this point I would rather just sell all credits and move onto Hawaiian/Alaska for future flights, for my family of four.
