Noticed signs in T5 today saying you can bring in a maximum of 2Kg pork products to protect from African Swine Flu.
CoPilot helpfully says If you're bringing maple syrup into the UK for personal use and its value is under £300, you generally don't need to declare it, as it falls within the personal allowance for goods. However, this assumes the syrup isn't classified as a restricted or excise good, which maple syrup typically isn't.
I stipulated under £300 it didn't get the allowance wrong.
