No meals on 4.5 hour flight any longer? [perhaps misread website]
So I was checking flights for a trip this winter (Nov/December)
Traditionally, the ALB-DFW flight has had a cold meal of some sort (due to Albany not being the hot bed of tourism and no catering), although I never got to experience this because DFW never catered the incoming aircraft to ALB.
Anyway:
11/29/25, AA 2971 ALB-DFW at 5:45 am says for meals: Refreshments
Although what's weird is AA's site shows:
"Business
Meals: Refreshments
Booking code: S
Class: Economy"
Which is also weird. The seats are definitely domestic F,
Is this due to possibly no catering being at ALB, so a cold box/whatever is labeled as "refreshments" (vs. labeled "breakfast", "lunch", etc?) now? And what's with the Class: Economy?
