Doubt now I will even fly Vietnam Airlines in the next 12 months, TBH, but I might fly China Eastern, China Airlines, and/or Korean Air so I did it mainly for Skyteam Elite Plus status.

How long did it take for your status to show up with the airline?

I was hoping that official estimate of five days was a worst-case scenario, but I am starting to suspect that it will indeed take that long. I created a new account and did the match 48 hours ago, but my account status is still showing up as REGISTRATION. The match was approved in a few hours, but they asked me to resubmit the screenshot of my matched account. I initially rotated and cropped it for clarity, but they only accept the original.
