I'll add another datapoint. I booked my partner on a QR award using AA miles, so on AA ticket stock. It did not post EQM to Mileage Plan. My award, same flights, same dates, booked on AS, did.

We still don't know what the T&Cs are. We do know from many datapoints that the 500 mile minimum does apply, though.

The T&Cs do explicity state "booked" with AS Miles, but, have not been updated. We can't rule out that there may be a "special" consideration for AA awards on AA metal, can we? More likely, though, it is an error and will be clawed back at a later date.

I wouldn't bank on any erroneous credits.
