If I understand correctly:

1. I will pick up luggage at LAX in am.
2. When I return to airport in PM, I will use Delta Medallion line to check in. (Hopefully, they will put Priority tags on bags.)
3. I take bags to be x-rayed.
4. I will go through Medallion security escalator and line.
5. I will relax in CRC
6. I will spend EIGHT hours in middle seat in coach.

Does anyone think that on the Wednesday night flight in May there might be enough empty seats that we can get a window aisle combination without anyone in between? My wife only likes window seats so she can lean against side of plane. Therefore, the seats in back don't work. I just can't imagine all that time in middle seat. Any recommended seats?
