If you are using the App then it's T-24 for each leg in this scenario, whereas the website may allow connections under 24 hours AND less then 47 hours from flight 1. When mixing airlines it's not unusual for OLCI to not work in full or in part. Baggage routing has its own system (made by a separate company) and you don't need to be fully checked in to get routing to the final destination. Check-in agents have greater abilities to check in that online tools so I suspect it will all be sorted out on the EU location, but EU locations can vary in terms of what they can do, particularly in terms of SABRE connectivity and training.
