I have a question regarding upgrade vouchers. I think I know the answer, but want to be certain before calling them to possibly push back on any wrong info by the TA:

I understand upgrade vouchers do not work with codeshare flights, and work only on AF-operated or KL-operated flights. What about an itinerary CDG-AMS-DAR, where CDG-AMS is operated by AF and AMS-DAR is operated by KL, and the entire trip is sold under a KL code? That makes the CDG-AMS segment a codeshare, does that mean this itinerary is not eligible for an upgrade? Or does it work because it all stays in the AFKL family?NB: the AF website sells this all under KL code, I presume I could also ask the TA to book it all under AF code, but then I'd still have one codeshare flight; or book first segment with AF code and second with KL code - but then it'd be a mixed airine trip, which is excluded as well (unless it's not, because it's all AFKL family).

And I have a second question: We'll be two families, a total of 8 people, traveling. 1x ULTI and 3x PLAT in my tribe, no status in the other family. Across 3 different PNRs. I know some of the things like ULTI room in the lounge and pre-boarding can be applied to ULTI+8 people. Does that also work when traveling on separate PNRs?
