I've just tried on Android BA app and Apple BA app as well as on BA.com site on phone browser.
On the apps the information about 'cabin choice only applies to your flight from BOS-LHR' is stated at the top.
Once you go to booking page and click About Your Flights / Flight Summary it gives more details about each sector.
