Is there a sleeping pods or room either at lounges or is there a transit hotel?

My wife's flight arrives at 9PM and outgoing flight is at 8AM. It is highly desirable to spend night at transit area without need to enter India because it would require visa.

Thanks.

There are hotel beds airside and landside. But the airside accommodation, is not very pocket friendly. The T3 Holiday Inn Express (transit) runs at £100+ for an overnight stay of 7 hours. If you'd be happy with a shorter sleep, spending time mooching the terminal, you could get away with a lower cost. https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airport-hotel

There again, set against the cost of visas, if you have no interest in visiting India, £100 stacks up well.

I've heard mention of sleep-pods, but I have no idea if these are available airside.

If you have the credentials (status, class of travel, Priority Pass etc), airside lounges might be the answer. I'm pretty sure you can pay for access at some, but dwell time would be limited.
