I'm trying to book a ticket on a flight from Luxor to Cairo in 3 weeks, but the flight inventory is zeroed out, yet the seat map shows the flight is mostly empty. Sure, many seats may be unassigned, but I have difficulty believing the flight is sold out. Is this standard practice for EgyptAir? Are the seats actually available but I have to go through some other channel (travel agent, EgyptAir ticket office, etc?)
