Flying VLC-FRA (Lufthansa) then FRA-IAD (United). Lufthansa checkin will only let me check in and get a BP for the first segment, and United won’t let me check in. How do I check in and get a BP for FRA-IAD??

edit: waitlisted via miles for a PremPlus upgrade, wondering if that’s causing the isssue?
