Dream come true - I will be flying ANA in Business on route PEK-HND and HND - FRA (787-9) and I'm super happy. It was always on my bucket list to fly them, mainly because of catering and stuff. I don't care so much about the room or the normal seats.

What I found odd now is that I just discovered that my seat changed on the PEK-HND(777-300) route from 6E to 2D, which seems to be a first class seat? My wife was still in 6G , so I tried and I was also able to move her up to 2G.

Since there isn't a real first class on that route, did they just move random people to these seats? Because as far as I remember I couldn't select them during booking.

Only downside, the PEK-HND had the pokemon jet scheduled this spring and now it seems they kicked out exactly this route for may. What a bummer
