I'm flying Y with MH, with one emerald status (ba gold) and not realising this change got rejected when trying to enter the Cathay lounge.

The person at the desk mentioned that it's been put in place due to the BKK airport authority; which seems odd.

Frustratingly JAL lounge is closed so have to make do with the miracle lounge.
