I am thinking of staying at GH Berlin in this fall using points for a base room. No meaningful status with Hyatt (Discoverist). I will be working during my stay here. How is the lounge for working out of? Do they kick you out after the evening hours? I will likely be working east coast hours (3p-11p local time). I don't mind purchasing for lounge access during my stay, but I wonder if I will be better off looking for a coworking space instead.

I find the lounge generally a let down and it gets way overcrowded during “cocktail hours” which would be right in the middle of your work time.
However, my partner has worked from this hotel twice now during night hours (he worked to Australian time, hence in the midst of night German time) and used the small business centre next to reception. It’s free of charge and he tells me it’s usually empty at night (not sure about the late afternoon when you have to start) and even has little private booths for online meetings and the likes. Probably your best bet I’d say.
