Looking at locations it's neither here nor there; though obviously the one closer to any attractions/restaurants/locations is good.

Also, do Platinum members get lounge access here regardless of their room? Conscious it's a resort hotel so they have differing rules.
I had many stays here, even last summer with the new large pool, and Lounge access has been always given with any kind of room booked (e.g. standard).
Far better Marriott lounge than the Westin Dragonara one, in terms of breakfast spread and evening happy hours.
On the other side, at the Marriott you have no private beach on the sea.
