After I lost a couple of eVouchers last year (10+ full segments where my upgrade was never confirmed) I applied a new set to a useless DEL-FRA segment (P to O class). I considered booking another LH group ticket where the upgrade would make more sense and tried to refund the upgrade. After a total of more than ten calls to various contact centers I've been told stories that range from "call LH", "call OS", "call LH M&M", "call OS M&M", "call online support", "call ticketing", "call your OTA (Lufthansa)" to "you need to pay to dowgrade and won't get the eVouchers back".
Agents hung up on me when it got too complicated and the next step might be the OS M&M team that doesn't work on the weekends.
Who the heck can downgrade an LH segment on an OS stock ticket?
