There are multiple mitigation strategies beyond an outright ban if one is truly concerned. Requiring all power banks to be held by consumers or just not in the overhead bin makes sense to me.
Isn't this literally the mitigation strategy though asked of for travelers? I mean, yes, cabin crew can't bring it onboard now but it's just literally an ask per their job like not wearing glasses.
