Based on the banner's wording, Flying Blue Extra seems to already include lounge access on its own (presumably just AFKL's own lounges?). Therefore I assume it's gonna be priced very high (US airlines sell lounge memberships for around 600-650 euros per year). But if they factor the very high lounge access cost into the price, the program won't be attractive for people who already have lounge access via other means, e.g. FB Gold, Platinum and ULTI members. But on the other hand, the banner is primarily selling this via extra miles and XP, which are largely irrelevant if you don't fly enough to earn at least Gold.

That leaves me to a worry that Flying Blue may, in line with the overal Americanisation of the program, be considering enhancing lounge access away for Gold level and replacing it with paid membership? Hopefully there's some other explanation, but it's very hard to imagine what it could be. Especially since lounges are already full, so if they want to give access to new groups of passengers, someone else must lose the access.
